Tara LaTour Lindemeier is an up and coming designer that is making a name for herself with unique gowns that have a fresh point of view. Tara’'s gowns can perfectly be described as modern romanticism. Tara grew up in the Minneapolis suburb of Chaska, MN. Growing up Tara was constantly surrounded by her large family, which molded her into much of what she is today. Tara'’s first interest in fashion sparked when she was young and would rummage through her grandmothers fabric drawers and watched her construct wedding gowns. This left a huge impression on the designer and has served as a major influence in Tara'’s life. Tara pursued a fashion education with the idea of entering into the bridal market. She studied at Parson New School for Design in New City and graduated with her fashion degree in May of 2010. There, she was already starting to create a buzz in the industry with her new approach to bridal.Tara's bridal gowns are made to be both unique and wearable. She is known for her attention to detail and hand-done fabric treatments that create an ethereal and romantic vision. Every collection Tara creates also has the ever presence of color. When designing, she often looks to her family and where she is from for inspiration. In the words of Tara, "I am really proud of where I come from, the family I have around me and the experiences I have been fortunate to experience. Those are the things that I find inspiration in and that drive me."

-April 2010Tara debuts her first full bridal collection under her label of Tara LaTour.-May 2010Tara graduates from Parson New School of Design with a degree in fashion design.-September 2010Tara LaTour's collection is presented on the runway during New York Fashion Week.-November 2010Tara became a finalist for BRIDES Operation Dream Dress. Featured on Good Morning America.First appearance in BRIDES magazines.-January 2011The Tara LaTour label was officially established and Tara moved to her location in NE Minneapolis.-April 2011The Tara La Tour label was present for the first time at New York Bridal Week. Her fresh and new approach to bridal creates buzz in the industry.
